2026 Community Partner Resource Fair
For Richmond and Worthdays are excited to invite child and family welfare social workers from Metro Richmond and the Tri-Cities to the 2026 Community Partners Resource Fair! Join us on Thursday, September 24th from 8 a.m. to Noon at The Commons: 2101 Maywill Street. Please RSVP by Sept. 21st using the form below.
This annual event helps connect social workers with the nonprofit partners who want to support them in their work. This year, in addition to breakfast, networking, the resource fair, and raffles, we’re adding a special workshop and optional movement and meditation session to follow:
"The Power of Pause: Practical Self-Care for Child Welfare Social Workers” Presented by Amanda Lynch, Founder, Rethinking Resiliency & The Safety Lab:
Frontline child welfare social workers don't need another lecture on self-care, they need something that actually works inside an impossible workload. This session takes a clinical yet practical approach, naming the real toll of the job without adding guilt or one more thing to manage. Grounded in trauma-informed practice, participants leave with a few sustainable, low-lift tools they can actually use between home visits, during court prep, or in the moments before a hard conversation. Designed to pair with a following yoga or movement session for a full arc from reflection to release.
A special thanks to our breakfast sponsors this year, including Chick-fil-a at Willow Lawn.
Please note that this registration form is ONLY for social workers. If you are a nonprofit who would like to register for a table at the resource fair, please email autumnezab@gmail.com
